SINGLE MINISTERS SESSION

The Winter conference team is excited to announce the addition of a special session to our annual event!

On Thursday morning December 3rd, we will be hosting a special breakout session designed especially for our ministry leaders who are single.

Our topic will focus on the unique pressures facing single leaders and their ministries.

Please be sure to join us!

CHILD TRAINING SEMINAR

With our focus on how to build strong families, the Winter conference on Wednesday afternoon December 2nd is pleased to offer a teaching seminar on the principles of training young children.

The theme of the seminar is:

"Parenting with vision: How to train your children to lead the next generation.”

Topics will include:

• What parents must see and do for their children to rise above the crowd. What are the enemies of parenting with vision, and examples from history of how fathers and mothers impacted the world around them through their children.
• The seminar will focus on the age groups 1 thru 10 years of age.
• We are excited to have Pastor David and Sandy Houston teaching this informative afternoon session.
• Please join them as they share from their many years of experience and teaching on raising and training young children.
• There is no cost for the event and please be sure to sign up through the registration page.

CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED giving both parents the opportunity to attend this important seminar!

Holiday Lights Disney World Excursion!

This year the Winter Conference team is thrilled to announce plans for the Disney World excursion on Friday, December 4th.

With four great theme parks dressed up in amazing Christmas holiday décor, our destination this year is the Disney Hollywood Studios!

Guest can enjoy exciting rides such as the “Tower of Terror” and equally exciting shows such as the “Indiana Jones Stunt show spectacular” and the brand new “American Idol Experience.”

We will top our day off walking through perhaps the most exciting Christmas activity in all of Disney:

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights!!!

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights on the Streets of America at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park is a breathtaking seasonal display featuring millions of glittering lights perfectly synchronized to holiday music.

The lights are so extensive you may find it hard to comprehend their magnitude. Entire buildings are blanketed in sheets of multi-colored lights, and thousands more lights form twirling carousels, heavenly angels, and even Santa and his reindeer. Approximately every 10 minutes, the lights dim and then dramatically spring to life — dynamically choreographed to traditional holiday music. You have to see the effect to believe it!

Some nights, if you truly believe in holiday magic, the show is capped off with an enchanted flurry of snow.

The Disney Excursion buses will depart approximately at 9am from Southpoint Community Church and return around 10pm.

Join us on the “Red” carpet!

On Thursday evening December 3rd, the Winter Conference will once again be hosting our annual Christmas party.

Please join of for a festive time of food and fellowship as we sing carols and celebrate the season.

Each guest will be welcomed to the party through our “red’ carpet entry way!

Children’s Ministry and Childcare

The Southpoint children’s ministry team is preparing another exciting program for all the families!

childcare will be provided for all conference sessions including the Christmas party.

Please keep in mind that the child’s registration of $15 includes meals of sandwiches, Chik-fil-a and pizza.

Pease note this cost does NOT include the Christmas party dinner. The children’s ministry will be serving their own meal.

The Youth registration of $40 does include the Christmas party dinner.
